Paper, office and stationery products, such as those presented by exhibitors of the international Paperworld trade fair in Frankfurt am Main from 30th January to 2nd February 2016, are playing an increasingly important role in the assortments of the book trade.
Prominently located in Hall 5.1, the Mr. Books & Mrs. Paper special show offers practical solutions for the bricks-and-mortar trade. The concept of the special show is created specifically towards the current spectrum of books on the market, and aims to underscore the emotional aspects of the customer's shopping experience. Books for Paperworld 2016 will be presented together with paper, office and stationery items and presented like a customer's home.
“The special show generates useful impulses for both retailers and manufacturers as new sales channels are created by the combination of books and paper, office supplies and stationery”, says Paperworld Director Michael Reichhold.
Inspiration for booksellers
With this show, trade visitors and booksellers, are shown how the product book can be presented in a lively way that creates an atmosphere in which customers are tempted to buy. Mr. Books & Mrs. Paper area is divided into themed worlds of experience that could also be found at home, e.g. with new novels, framed photos and personal writing utensils as a private retreat; with business materials and stylish accessories as a home office; as a home workshop equipped with masking tape, ribbons, cards and pendants, as well as a stack of creative guidebooks. A large armchair, a low table, attractive lighting and a bookcase form the setting for this – a setting that is changed twelve times to provide the perfect arrangement for matching paper, office and stationery products.
Practical help for shop owners
Mr.Books & Mrs. Paper presents a display for the book trade, which is easy to set up at the point of sale – even on smaller areas or in a shop window. The special show thus underscores the unique advantage of the conventional over the online trade: the chance to provide inspiration, emotions and variety for the customer. With product displays of this kind, customers can not only see but also experience their books and paper, office and stationery products with all their senses. Thanks to the original assortment and the quality of the shopping experience, the personality of the shop becomes tangible for the customers. Mr. Books & Mrs. Paper supplies the right ideas for this.
The special show represents an additional opportunity to present their non-book products in an attractive setting. Curator Angelika Niestrath is looking for exciting new products in the non-book segment and would be delighted to hear from any exhibitors with suitable articles. Interested manufacturers can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org .
The curator will give guided tours of the Mr. Books & Mrs. Paper special show in Hall 5.1 daily at 11.30am and 2pm on the first three days of Paperworld. There will be one guided tour on the last day of the fair at 11.30am only.
