ICHF Events prestigious outdoor craft shows, The Weald of Kent Craft & Design Show and the Chilterns Craft & Design Show attracted more than 38,000 visitors across its two venues this summer.
The Weald of Kent Craft & Design Show is set in the stunning grounds of Penshurst Place House and Gardens and exhibits its three day show in May and September. The Chilterns Craft & Design Show takes place over August bank holiday weekend in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside at the historic Stonor Park near Henley on Thames.
Each show features exquisite British crafts and cutting edge design with beautiful pieces for the home and garden including handcrafted furniture and glassware as well as one off pieces of jewellery, luxury beauty products and leather goods. In addition to the craft marquees, a full timetable of demonstrations and workshops engaged visitors each day of the show.
The Graduate Marquee has become a staple feature of the outdoor craft shows, bringing a range of stunning work from newly qualified designers. Visitors to the shows had the unique opportunity to see and purchase exquisite pieces from the next big names in the industry.
Simon Burns, joint Managing Director of ICHF Events said “Our outdoor craft shows offer a one-of-a-kind blend of British craftsmanship combined with stunning locations and quality exhibitors. We've found that this formula is a huge draw for visitors, both local and further afield. Our knowledgeable and talented exhibitors return year on year with new pieces which is a testament to the show and the visitors it attracts.”
Angie and Louise, owners of Annie May Designs said: “The show was a great success, really well organised and such a lovely company to exhibit with. We had a wonderful time seeing so many returning customers and thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous feedback we had from them.”
Stephan Hrycak, from The Knife Sharpener Guy said: “As always the ICHF Weald of Kent Craft & Design was a great weekend for us this September. On all three days we were very busy, with Saturday being the best day. We've booked in for the show in May and we're going to book again for next September.”
The Weald of Kent and the Chilterns Craft & Design Show offers fun for the whole family with falconry displays, birds and the beasts roadshows, family workshops, face painting, live music and story time.
