Craft Hobby + Stitch International, Europe's largest dedicated trade show for the art, craft, needlecraft and hobby sector, celebrates its 40th show at the NEC, Birmingham from Sunday 15th - Tuesday 17th February 2015.
Commemorating 40 years at the centre of the creative industry, Craft Hobby + Stitch International Spring 2015 will showcase over 250 suppliers and thousands of products from across the globe as well as providing inspiration, education and networking opportunities to visiting international business professionals.

New for 2015 is a Trends Area presenting the latest innovations and new products displayed as room sets at the entrance to the show. 2015 also sees the return of the Bright Sparks Pavilion featuring new designers and fledgling companies launching innovative products to the market.
CHSI also offers over 100 hours of free workshops and seminars covering a wide range of subjects delivered by a host of crafting professionals and top industry names and the ActSmart CHSI Business Advice Centre providing free professional advice on how to grow your business.
Creativity on the Catwalk will bring the latest yarns, colours, designs and fashion fabrics to life on the catwalk runway while Itch to Stitch and the Yarn Lounge provide expertise and inspiration to retailers looking for advice on how to sell needlecraft and knitting ranges.
Three lucky retailers will win £1000 in the Craft Hobby + Stitch International Retailer Prize Draw, held each day of the show. All trade visitors registered in advance of the show are entered and could win £1000 to spend on supplies at or after the show. Craft Hobby + Stitch International is Europe's No 1 trade show for the art, craft, needlecraft and hobby industry.
40 years of Craft, Hobby + Stitch International - The Timeline:
1976 – The first International Craft & Hobby Fair incorporating Stitches was held at Wembley International Conference centre in October and was opened by Una Stubbs
1985 – The International Craft & Hobby Fair changes its name to Stitches
1986 –Stitches moves to NEC, Birmingham
2005 –Stitches changes its name to Craft Hobby + Stitch International 2008 – Bright Sparks Pavilion introduced
2010 – Creativity on the Catwalk introduced
2014 – Craft Hobby + Stitch International Autumn launched at ExCeL, London
