The event has a large focus on YouTube makers, and gives fans a chance to see their favourite personalities in action, with live demonstrations, Q&As and opportunities to meet and chat. Famous faces at the 2018 event included Jimmy Diresta, Bobby Dukes Arts and Alex Steele, who each have more than 1.3 million YouTube subscribers. Visitors to the show will be able to try their hand at a range of different making activities including ice sculpting, wood turning, robotics and pyrography, as well as shopping for handmade goods and craft materials. Other highlights this year will include Colin Furze, one of the biggest YouTube makers in the UK. “With our first show, we didn’t really expect the numbers that came through the door,” says Nick Zametti, the show’s founder. “The queues on the opening day were huge, which shocked the NEC staff. The feedback we have had from visitors, exhibitors and the community as a whole has been incredible, which meant we had no other option than to put on another show in 2019.” The show will take place on 11 th and 12 th May at NEC Birmingham.
