PAPERWORLD IS SET TO MAKE THE CUT Running from 26 th -29 th January in Frankfurt, Paperworld will showcase a range of paper goods, greeting cards, leather items, accessories, napkins, table decorations and other designs. This year, the event has relocated to a new hall, with a fresh product mix that will enable exhibitors and visitors to gain easier access to a range of additional purchasing groups. Hall 3.1 will host greeting card publishers Hallmark Cards and UK Greetings as well as gift suppliers like bsb-obpacher, Despache and Becker & Becker Vertrieb, better known as Grafik Werkstatt. Paper + Design will also be showcasing its table decorations, while Francesco Brizzolari, Saul Sadoch and Zöllner-Wiethoff will be on hand with a selection of gift packaging ideas. This year’s Paperworld Trends will also have a new home in Hall 3.1. Messe Frankfurt has commissioned designers from the bora.herke.palmisano style agency to pick up on the latest ideas across fashion, architecture and art and adapt them to the world of stationery and office supplies, with daily tours and lectures available. In the BMWi promotional area in Hall 3.1 young start- ups will present a range of fresh ideas and unconventional products. For visitors, the area is an inspiring source of information and is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The Wrap Up! show will also feature hints and tips to help package gifts quickly and attractively. In addition, the Oriental Culture exhibition in Hall 3.1 will showcase fine craftsmanship and products from across the Far East. TOY FAIR OFFERS PLENTY FOR CRAFT RETAILERS Toy Fair 2019 will take place at Olympia, London from 22 nd – 24 th January, with a huge range of toy and hobby manufacturers and distributors set to attend. Well-known exhibitors will include Spin Master, Ravensburger, Fiesta Crafts, Golden Bear and Orchard Toys, and retailers will be able to view a range of new and forthcoming trends. Among the craft exhibitors attending, Bandai UK will showcase its Pretty Pixels Eraser Marker, which enables children to make their own erasers using a pixel template. Eduk8 Worldwide will present its Craft for Kids kits, with popular designs including a monster truck, freight train and emoji cushion, while Great Gizmos will be exhibiting its extensive range of children’s creative sets. Laser Beam Eyes Ltd will present Junko, a junk modelling system that can help kids turn old packaging into working toys, and My Little World Ltd will unveil a range of core sets covering the emergency services, space, fairies and the airport.
