This year’s edition will feature more than 1,000 carefully selected exhibitors, showcasing everything from cutting edge to classic designs, from quintessentially British brands and the world’s most directional labels. The autumn exhibition will present buyers with a diverse range of new products across craft, home, gift, fashion, greetings, stationery, food and children’s goods. For details, visit topdrawer.co.uk BEST OF BRITISH DESIGN ON DISPLAY AT BCTF More than 400 of Britain’s best designer-makers came together at the Great Yorkshire Showground this April for another successful edition of The British Craft Trade Fair. Buyers flocked to the popular exhibition, which featured the cream of UK jewellers, artists, ceramicists, sculptors, greeting card designers and other artisan suppliers, all displaying a range of beautiful items to the trade. Highlights included an awards ceremony, which took place after the show closed on Monday 9 th April. The BCTF Award For Excellence went to Anderson Creations, while the Best Newcomer prize was handed to Charlotte Wilkinson Glass. “The 2018 show has had a great buzz and positive upbeat atmosphere, with many top-end buyers in attendance,” says Show Organiser, Margeret Bunn. “This is our second year in the new hall, which is a wonderful, purpose-built venue that provides the perfect environment for buyers to source new products. Feedback from both exhibitors and visitors has been overwhelmingly positive and we are delighted at how the show has been received.
